Cascades Park Wins 2015 National and Statewide APWA Awards

The Genesis project Cascades Park has been selected for two 2015 American Public Works Association (APWA) Project of the Year awards.

Genesis is proud to announce that Cascades Park has been selected as the winning project for 2 APWA awards: National Public Works Project of the Year in the Environment category for 2015 and Statewide Project of the Year in the Stormwater category for 2015.

Cascades Park, the 25-acre urban park in Tallahassee, successfully performs as a major new flood control/flood plain management system and an outstanding recreational facility for the community. From 2002 until March 2014, Genesis was involved in the planning and design of the Capital Cascades Trail and Cascades Park in partnership with Blueprint 2000 and Beyond. The community has embraced Cascades Park as the preeminent facility in the Tallahassee Parks system. (Read more)
