P&D TAMPA | Woodspring Suites – Temple Terrace
The Woodspring Suites project in Temple Terrace received their Certificate of Occupancy at the end of February and is now operating at more than 90% occupancy. Liberty Property, in conjunction with Foundry Commericial, acquired Genesis' services for this project site comprised of two parcels at the southwest corner of the 1-75 and Fletcher Avenue interchange within Section 12, Township 28, and Range 19 of Hillsborough County, Florida. The project included the construction of a 4-story hotel with 124 suite rooms. Mike Sanders, P.E., is the Project Manager responsible for overseeing all site design and permitting components.

CEI NORTHWEST FLORIDA | I-10 From Davis Highway to Scenic Highway
Genesis worked on a $43.1 million, 850-day duration project to widen I-10 from four to six travel lanes, to widen Scenic Highway between Whisper Way and Northpointe Parkway, and to replace the Scenic Highway overpass over I-10. In addition to constructing new travel lanes, this project involved reconstructing interstate exit and entrance ramps, extensive earthwork construction, and constructing drainage improvements.

P&D TALLAHASSEE | FAMU Way
Genesis has submitted final plans to the City of Tallahassee Growth Management department for review and final permitting for the Phase II Roadway and Stormwater Design on FAMU Way. Our Tallahassee and Tampa divisions are working together to complete this project for the City of Tallahassee, which is slated to begin construction by the end of March 2017.

CEI SOUTHWEST FLORIDA | Gandy & 4th in St. Petersburg
Genesis developed signal and traffic operation plans for this complex intersection that was reconfigured as a Single Point Urban Interchange. The signing and marking design included six overhead lighted signing structures and the pavement marking design to guide over 100,000 Average Daily Traffic (ADT) through the location. The signal design involved the interconnection of three locations to allow for the progressive movement of traffic through the intersection.

P&D JACKSONVILLE | San Salito Amenity Center
Genesis was the lead designer, engineer, and landscape architect for the recently completed 3.2 acre, $2 million-dollar amenity center and entry enhancement for the 450-unit single family San Salito development in St. Johns County, Florida. Genesis provided entry feature signage design, architectural theming, and pool amenity facility management. The community amenities include a 2,500-square-foot building, 3,500-square-foot pool with a zero-entry edge and lap lanes, an all-purpose field, tennis court, tot lot, sand volleyball, and multiple outdoor pavilions.
