IREP - Site Selection and Analysis

Genesis Group's Planning team worked with Imperium on developing a stringent set of criteria for locating an appropriate site for the development of a revewable energy research and production facility.

Utilizing our large in-house geodatabase as well as gathering data from municipalities and government agencies throughout the State of Florida, our GIS staff performed a site selection analysis locating the one site in Hillsborough County that met all the requirements set fouth by our Client and Planners.

This same analysis was presented to the County to show that this is the only site in the county that can support this activity, as part of a successful Comprehensive Plan Amendment proposal, creating a brand new land use category (EIP) for this site.
