Meres Crossing is a mixed-use, retail, office and residential development on Alternate US 19 near Tarpon Spring’s Sponge Docks and immediately adjacent to Tarpon Spring’s Downtown Redevelopment District.  The project includes three connections to the Pinellas Trail, native plant pallette and wetland enhancements.

This 17 acre project is located next to the Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, and when complete will provide multiple tenant retail stores anchored by a grocery store. Over 150,000 SF of office space including medical and bio-medical research and other professional office tenant space will be constructed.  There will be approximately 362 residences constructed in the project in close proximity to the office and retail uses on site.

To improve connectivity to Meres Crossing and increase the efficiency of the parking at Helen Ellis Hospital, Genesis redesigned the hospital’s parking lot. This redesign, while increasing the overall parking, incorporated issues related to phasing operations, ambulatory drop off and helicopter operations.

Design of the site incorporates criteria from the City of Tarpon Springs Land Development Code, Future Land Use Element and Multi-Modal Transportation District. Pinellas County criteria found in the Pinellas Countywide Rules and Pinellas By Design are also incorporated into the design.
